The legendary Baltimore Old Time Jam takes place every other Tuesday at Bluebird's Whiskey Pub (3600 Hickory Ave) in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood, just off The Avenue!
Led by Ken & Brad Kolodner, the jam brings together musicians of all ages and abilities for an evening of lively old-time music. All instruments and skill levels are welcome! Don't play an instrument? Come soak in the scene, enjoy the music, grab a drink and have a bite to eat.
The jam runs from 7–10pm, with food and drinks available starting at 6pm.
-
6–7pm: Early Country Sing – Come sing some classic country songs!
-
7–8pm: Slow Jam – A welcoming, moderate-paced jam that's perfect for beginners and anyone looking to learn tunes.
-
8–10pm: Fast Jam – We kick up the tempo for a lively session of old-time tunes. Imagine a sea of fiddles, banjos, guitars and more, all playing together!
On alternating Tuesdays, Alex Lacquement & Friends lead the Baltimore Bluegrass Jam from 7–10pm, featuring bluegrass songs and instrumentals. Bring a song or two to lead, or just show up and play along!
Best of all, both jams are FREE and open to everyone! Whether you're a longtime regular, a first-time jammer or just curious about the music, we'd love to see you there.
