About the event
Max Wareham Band
Thursday, March 4
You're invited! Bring friends, food, drink and a smiling face for what will surely be a beautiful evening of music and community! Boston-based banjo player, songwriter, and author Max Wareham brings a fresh perspective to traditional bluegrass, blending driving banjo playing with thoughtful songwriting and a lo-fi indie folk sensibility. A longtime member of the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, Wareham has toured nationally and performed at major festivals including Telluride, MerleFest, and RockyGrass. He also appears on Rowan’s Grammy-nominated album Calling You From My Mountain alongside Billy Strings. Leading his own group, The National Bluegrass Team, Wareham delivers performances that balance intimate storytelling with energetic musicianship.
